The Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce consists of local and regional for-profit businesses, non-profit organizations, local governments, and interested individuals. We are registered with the state of Michigan as a 501(c) 6 non-profit organization, and operate under approved by-laws with the totally volunteer participation of the elected officers, board of trustees and membership.
The Chamber has no paid staff and operates on a budget. Our officers and board members perform Chamber work from their home or business locations. The Chamber Mixer meetings are held quarterly after regular business hours at various venues.
The Chamber of Commerce yearly events include the Business Expo, Golf Outing with the CRC, Halloween Caramel Apple Event, Christmas in the Village / Holiday Home Tour, Spring Job Fair and participation in Manchester 3rd Thursdays. We also provide training workshops and other events to assist local businesses.

Our Mission
The Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce serves to promote and stimulate the commercial vitality of its members, who consist of local businesses, service organizations and individual located in or near Manchester. Our goals are:
- To sponsor and host business and social activities which educate the public on members’ products and services
- To increase traffic and commerce in Manchester
- To inform members on best business practices and educational tools available, and
- To speak as a unified voice concerning matters affecting our members.
Membership Benefits
- Education: we offer several business building workshops to our members.
- General Membership Mixers: our Membership Meeting format consists of a relaxed networking atmosphere, along with a “pass the mic” opportunity to share with fellow members what’s new with your business/organization.
- Online Promotion: not only will you be listed on the MACC website, but your events and business/organization will also be promoted on the MACC facebook page.
- Community Involvement: any member of your business/organization has the opportunity to help with any of the committees or events that MACC hosts and sponsors.
- Sponsorship Opportunities: there are many opportunities to sponsor MACC events and mixers to help further promote your business.
- Washtenaw Council of Chambers, and Destination Ann Arbor Program, Community Tourism Action Plan: the MACC is involved with these very crucial support programs which greatly benefits the promotion of the Manchester community and MACC members.
- Business Community Camaraderie: we all face the struggles of being a business owner in a smaller rural community, and MACC takes pride in creating an environment where we build each other up with support, encouragement, and ideas.
